Introduction
I’ve been lucky over the last number of years to have some great conversations. These have often inspired me around areas of animal health and beyond. So, I said, why not start having more of them and sharing some of these inspiring stories of people in agriculture.
I also want to challenge my thinking and who knows, even occasionally, the status quo.
So I’m giving #Aginspire conversations a go for a few months.
The aim is simple “To have conversations with interesting people doing inspiring things in agriculture.”
This week I catch up with the person who inspired me to start #Aginspire conversations.
Mella Briscoe is a dairy farmer from Galway. Her own life and farming story is truly inspiring.
Her dedication to her farming business is phenomenal. They say leaders aren’t born they are made. They sometimes are amongst us and we don’t realize it, or often don’t get the recognition they deserve. This blog is dedicated to those leaders like Mella who make the world a better place.
Listening to Mella when I first met her gave me the idea for #Aginspire, when you listen I think you’ll feel the same!
We discuss:
Her own journey to realizing her farming dream
The power of a good attitude and determination
Getting over our fears
The future of farming
